Ghost Rider has a movie coming up with actor Nicolas Cage sometime next year, and it surely will have a game-movie tie-in. 2K Games has announced that it will be publishing the game based on both the classic comic book series as well as the movie that’s going to roll into theaters February 2007.
Set for release simultaneously with the movie, the game follows superstar motorcycle stunt rider Johnny Blaze as he strikes a deal with the devil for his soul. He is transformed into a super hero with powers to avenge evil he encounters – characters and motorcycles from the comic book and the movie will be making their appearances. Ghost Rider will feature a “supernatural” third person world with hand-to-hand combat and high-speed motorcycle action.
It is currently in development for consoles and handhelds at Climax Group.
