Dark Sector Coming to PC

The Games Company sent out word that it will publish the PC version of Dark Sector in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Developed by Digital Extremes, the game was released last year on PS3 and Xbox 360. It has players taking on mutants with an unique blade-like device that can act as a boomerang.

Dark Sector Gets Dated

In a press release by the European wing of D3Publisher it was announced that Dark Sector will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 across the region on January 22, 2008.

The game is being developed by Digital Extremes, co-creators of the extremely successful Unreal franchise, and will feature a “dark, gritty” experience for players. To celebrate the release date, the game’s official website has been revamped and it now features development blogs, exclusive assets, and more.

WarPath Crossing Europe

The European publishing rights for WarPath, Groove Games‘ sci-fi FPS, was picked up by Lighthouse Interactive. Developed by Digital Extremes, the game is a combination of single and multiplayer modes “sure to please FPS fans.” It is set for release in the region during Q1 2007.

Dark Sector Teaser Trailer, Screenshots

The third teaser trailer for Dark Sector has been released, showing another re-invention of the original sci-fi title. Available in HD and SD resolutions, the teaser can be downloaded from the game’s official website which, after almost 3 years, still hasn’t matured into a full site, though it is now host to an official developer blog.

A couple of screenshots from the re-imagined Dark Sector are available on 3D Gamers.
