Left 4 Dead Theatrical Posters Released

Left 4 Dead is composed of four movie-sized acts that are introduced by loading screen art done in a sort of film one-sheet poster, complete with campy lines and full credit list.

These posters have been released by Valve as downloadable images. Check them out below. The game itself is due out in three days.

Left 4 Dead Intro Trailer

In anticipation of the game’s release on November 18 on PC and Xbox 360, Valve has released the introduction trailer for its cooperative zombie shooter Left 4 Dead.

The four-minute video was produced entirely using the game’s engine; it was created by the same team that produced the popular Team Fortress 2 “Meet the…” videos.

Castle Crashers Goes Gold

Long in development title Castle Crashers has finally gone gold according to this post on the company’s blog. The game has completed production and is currently awaiting certification at Microsoft.

In development since 2006, the hack-and-slash title for the Xbox Live Arcade still does not have a release date seeing how unpredictably time consuming the certification process is at Microsoft. However, with core development completed, the game will surely come out this Summer.

Army of Two Pushed Back

Reuters reports that EA has delayed Army of Two, its cooperative action-shooter that was scheduled for release on November 13. The game is now expected sometime early next year.

“Army of Two has potential to become a lasting EA franchise — so getting the first title right is essential,” said Frank Gibeau, head of EA Games.

The game is in development for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
