Panzer Elite Action "Tank Babes"

Just to show you how serious Panzer Elite “Action” will be, JoWooD and Deep Silvers today announced that “Tank Babes” will be appearing in the latest issue of FHM magazine.

The company ran a model contest, with the winner getting their dream fulfilled: appearing almost naked in a men’s’ magazine. Sabrina from Austria and Myriell and Diana from Germany got their dreams fulfilled and will appear in the May issue of the German FHM.

Sample photos were also sent out, but they were *ahem* a bit risqué…

Night Watch RPG Announced

CDV today announced that they plan on publishing Night Watch, a tactical RPG based on the popular Russian sci-fi/horror movie.

In the Night Watch universe, there are people among us who appear ordinary, but who are different; they call themselves “Others.” These Others can channel magical power as devastating attacks and defenses. Those who support the forces of light are known as the Night Watch, while those that fight on the side of darkness are the Day Watch. These two sides have been locked in an epic battle with the common hope of one ultimately claiming a decisive victory and a right to rule the world.

Being developed by Nival Interactive, Night Watch will have players taking on the role of a recently initiated “Other” as he gets familiar with his magical power and tries to make sense of the role he plays in the eternal war.

No exact release date was mentioned for the release, but the game is expected sometime later this year.

Glory of the Roman Empire will challenge gamers to grow a small village into a thriving community through trade with neighbors, while also expanding and defending its borders through more militaristic means. Players will need to focus on the physical and emotional health of the citizenry, as villagers age and mature under strong leadership, contributing to the development of more advanced societies and larger cities. More than 30 missions based in 11 historically inspired towns will immerse players in the historical aspects of the Roman Empire.

In the game, players will take on the role of urban planner and real estate developer, creating a metropolitan paradise from dozens of beautifully rendered structures – including elaborately crafted villas and ultra-modern skyscrapers. City Life comprises the full city building experience, requiring players to take into account the need for municipal services, education, entertainment and a complete infrastructure system while maintaining harmony between the game’s six distinct social classes. The graphics engine features a level of detail unmatched in the genre, allowing players to walk the streets of their cities, or zoom out to multiple levels for a better view of the overall action. A custom map editor will allow players to expand upon the 22 maps included with the game, creating near limitless replay value.
