Call of Duty 2 Map Packs Coming Up

Just following Microsoft’s E3 Xbox Live announcement, Activision sent out word that Infinity Ward plans on releasing new content for Call of Duty 2 through Xbox Live.

A total of nine multiplayer maps will be released, with the first four maps available for download this Spring; playable versions will debut at E3 in Activision’s CoD2 Lounge (#1200, South Hall). The remaining five maps will be released in July.

The first two maps will be released for free – Vossenack and Wallender, Germany – with the Skirmish map pack (Kalach, Russia and Beaumont-Hague, France) going for 400 points when released.

July will see the second wave with the release of the Invasion Pack that will go for 900 points. It will be a multiplayer map pack featuring the following five maps: Antoville, France (Crossroads); St. Louet, France (Newvillers); Amaye sur Seulles, France (Normandy); Alam Halfa, Egypt (Decoytown); and Rostov, Russia (Harbor).
