Sorry for not updating the site for the last few days. I was busy preparing for my exams which are now going on; they will finish on Tuesday. So, I will be back to updating the site on Wednesday.

Killzone 2 Wallpapers

This year’s E3 saw the release of two new pieces of Killzone 2 artwork, showcasing the Helghast soldiers. These images were provided in high-resolution format by SCEA, thanks to whom I can now offer you wallpaper-sized versions of the awesome artworks.

There are three wallpapers in three different resolutions: 2560×1600 (widescreen monitors), 1600×1200 (standard screen monitors) and 480×272 (PSP).

The following images were kindly provided by SCEA and thanks goes out to the original artists who did them. I only cropped, resized and did the wallpapers.

No E3 Updates!

Seeing as how this is the start of a new week, I’ve decided to fore go E3 news that I’ve missed posting last week and focus on the latest stuff.

Also, the site was acting up earlier today. I had some backend issues with the tagging system, but it seems to have been worked out now.

I'm Back!

First off, I’m very sorry for not updating the site for over a week now. My life has been very tumultuous for the last few months, but the dust seems to have settled, meaning that I’m now back working on BDGamer!

I’ll be playing E3-catchup today. Please excuse the extremely late news. This week will see regular news postings everyday.

New Day, New Server

As was usual with our previous host, Site5, a spike in traffic would cause our sites to go down. According to Site5, we had “outgrown shared hosting” and needed to move to a “dedicated solution”.

That we have.

Welcome to the new server. BDGamer, BDcomics, as well as other upcoming sites in the network, are now hosted by JaguarPC, using their semi-dedicated package. The sites will now run much faster, more efficiently, and most importantly, will be able to handle traffic spikes much better. No sudden site shutdowns anymore.

If you have visited the above mentioned host’s site, you might have seen that it now costs us $30 per month to keep the site up and running, without counting the man hours put into it. It is not financially viable for us to pay such amounts to keep sites such as BDcomics running. Therefore, we ask you to click on banner ads that you find relevant once in a while, just to cover our hosting costs a bit. We’re looking into alternatives, and it does not involve donations. More details will be announced in the near future… along with a brand new spanking custom design!

For now, enjoy.

Happy New Year and Eid Mubarak!

Well, guess what, 2007 is here and kicking ass! Hope you had an awesome New Year’s Eve party and didn’t get arrested or too drunk to actually see the new year.

Eid Mubarak to all Muslims out there! It’s Eid here today in Bangladesh, one to two days later than most countries. Enjoy it!

As for me: I’m taking a holiday today. No news posts today. I might post a couple of wallpapers around night, but that will be all today, unless something like Gears of War 2 is announced or something…

New Game Wallpapers

I had been meaning to upload these wallpapers for quite some time now, but just couldn’t get around to doing it… until now.

Well, enjoy the following wallpapers derived from concept art, among other things. I take no credit for these wallpapers (except for the appropriate cropping) and would like to thank the artists for creating such awesome art for game development and for us – the fans.

All nine wallpapers below are in 1920×1200 resolution, suited for wide-screen monitors; they have also been formatted for display on the PSP.
