Mass Effect 3’s Citadel trailer brings together old friends for one last adventure
I can’t help but be excited about Citadel, the final piece of single-player DLC for Mass Effect 3. Conspiracies, hanging out with friends, and going on one last adventure with old friends and partners? Definitely the last hurrah for Shepard and crew. It comes out tomorrow.
Willem Dafoe starring in Beyond: Two Souls
Hollywood is increasingly getting attracted to videogames. So, it isn’t truly surprising to see Willem Dafoe–a veteran, Oscar-nominated actor–making an integral appearance in Beyond: Two Souls. He looks great in it. I’ve been a fan of his work and can’t wait to see how his performance turns out in this game.
What’s more interesting is how the technology to capture motion has changed. They are now simultaneously capturing both body and facial movements. The results are quite brilliant, as far as Beyond‘s videos go. Can’t wait to see the final product! You can see an interview with Dafoe and the motion capture technology I talked about after the jump.

Now ride your horse into battle in Skyrim
So, yeah, you can now ride horses into battle in Skyrim. Mounted combat is coming to the game in the v1.6 patch, which is due out soon. However, Steam users can join in on the fun right now through the beta.
To get into the beta, all you have to do is go into Steam settings and check the beta participation section. You will then need to restart Steam, which will then notify you of beta updates for your games.
Bethesda notes that you should not overwrite your existing saves, and that you should back up your current saved games in the off chance they become corrupted. The only new feature is mounted combat; the patch mostly fixes bugs and other issues.

Spider-Man zooms around New York in this trailer
Being Spider-man has its perks, I believe. Imagine swinging about New York City, grabbing breathtaking views from skyscrapers, and getting to your destination without having to go through any gridlocks. That’s what Beenox is trying to capture in the upcoming movie tie-in The Amazing Spider-Man. They have developed a context-sensitive system dubbed ‘Web Rush’.
Activating it will slow down time and let you select a route or course of action. Spider-man then pulls a wide variety of tricks to automatically perform that. It seems like a glorified context-sensitive menu, but hey, it should be fun, right?
The game is due out on PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS and DS on June 26. Check out the trailer below.
