The Fullbright Company, composed of former BioShock developers, today unveiled Gone Home, its first game. It is a non-violent first-person exploration and investigation game.
It will have you exploring a modern, residential locale to uncover what happened there. Fullbright co-founder Steve Gaynor noted that they are pushing towards simulation and interactivity. “[The player will be] that much more invested in discovering the story woven into the environment,” he wrote.
Gone Home is being made using the Unity engine. The first screenshots and a pre-alpha video have been posted on its website. More details are expected later this year.
