No Samus for Retro

It seems that Retro Studios wants to take a break from Samus. Metroid Prime 3: Corruption director Mark Pacini confirmed in a Yahoo! Games video interview that the studio will not work on the series for some time to come. “We are taking a break from the Metroid series and from Samus,” he said. “So I’m sure there will be other titles created, but as far as Retro Studios is concerned, we’re taking a break for a little bit.”

Though it is likely the studio has other games in the pipeline, no details on their other projects are known at the moment. Before shifting focus on the original Metroid Prime back in 2002, the studio was said to be working on various other projects including an RPG called Raven Blade.
